Lakeview
The guest room adjoining the Capitol Suite was named for its excellent view of Capitol Lake. In the room, the design team again used navajo white on the walls. They replaced the drapes, bedspread and bed skirt and placed beautiful slip covers on the chaise and a comfortable chair.
The antique English faded mahogany chest of drawers, circa 1860, is comprised of three large drawers and two small top drawers with oval shaped brass handles. The base has ogee shaped bracket feet. This piece was donated to the Foundation by Dr. & Mrs. B. Rivers Penn.
The adjoining bath was enhanced with new wallpaper, new shower curtain and matching window treatment.
