Our Chefs' Extraordinaire Tour has been a great success. Chefs Brian Blanchard, Gilbert Decourt, Patrick Poupart and Nash Barreca have come together to do a series of fund raisers using their culinary skills. In each city they also invite a chef from that area to assist in this event.
Our first stop on our Chefs' Extraordinaire Tour was November 16, 2006 at the home of Former Governor and Mrs. Mike Foster in Franklin. The Event was chaired by Tonya Stiel and Sandy McClelland. Oaklawn Manor, the beautiful plantation home built in 1837 offered the perfect setting for our chef's kickoff. A formal, candle light dinner provided the atmosphere for this truly magical evening. Thanks to the Foster's for this beautiful evening. Guest chef for this event was Al Kuhlman from The Forest Restaurant in Franklin.
