Our first stop on our Chefs' Extraordinaire Tour was November 16, 2006 at the home of Former Governor and Mrs. Mike Foster in Franklin. The Event was chaired by Tonya Stiel and Sandy McClelland. Oaklawn Manor, the beautiful plantation home built in 1837 offered the perfect setting for our chef's kickoff. A formal, candle light dinner provided the atmosphere for this truly magical evening. Thanks to the Foster's for this beautiful evening. Guest chef for this event was Al Kuhlman from The Forest Restaurant in Franklin.
Alexandria Golf & Country Club was the next venue on our Chefs' tour. March 22nd proved to be the fabulous evening everyone hoped it would be. Hosted by board members, Fahy Dewitt, Dennie Williams, Teri Madison, Joy Hodges, Tommy Antoon and Oday Lavergne, this event spotlighted our chefs who manned food stations where each prepared two items to be served, followed by Poupart's delectable finger desserts.
