Easter Hunt

Once again, the grounds of the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion were transformed into a “playland of dreams”. On March 18, 2008, First Lady, Supriya Jindal hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt for children in the Head Start program state-wide. Each year, children ages 3 to 8 are invited to attend the party featuring fun jumps, train rides, face painting, pony rides, balloons and treats. The day culminates in an exciting scramble to find the hundreds of colorfully dyed and hidden eggs.
