Parish Ornament Project 2007
Christmas Ornament Decorators
The Foundation initiated its 9th annual Christmas ornament project wherein two students from each parish are invited to come to the Governor's Mansion to decorate ornaments that depict something of their parish. The Foundation furnishes the ornament and the students, along with a representative from their school or a parent, bring their paints and brushes for an afternoon of fun at the Mansion. This year the event was held on November 12, 2007 from 1 - 4 PM on the Mansion grounds. Some 60 somewhat students were in attendance representing about 30 of our parishes. The ornaments are placed on Christmas Trees in the Mansion at Christmas time.
